One of my favorite authors and she did a sensational job with this powerful story! The dedication at the beginning of the book (to her late fiance, Bobby) will give you goosebumps and even cause a few tears. Then the book will have you on the edge of your seat at the same time you're reaching for the Kleenex again.

Could NOT put this book down. It captivated me and I literally read it in two days!!!!! And I have a baby to take care of, so that goes to show you have good it was!!!!

This was the first, and last book I'll read by this author. At first I thought this book may have been very dated... then I checked the publication date and it is 2007! Where do I start?
The dialogue is beyond cheesy... it's actually cringeworthy. The entire storyline is ridiculously unbelievable. There are attempts at humor that are innapropriate. The insta-love is... uncomfortable. And I like insta-love!! Lastly, there was too much detail in areas that didn't need it, and not enough in parts that really could've used more information.
The idea of the story has merit! The problem was the follow-through. If this author matured in her craft and improved her writing skills... I have a feeling the result would have been much more palatable.

I have to admit, I ordered this book from PBS hesitantly because I have never read any of Dinah McCall's books. I wasn't sure she could keep me interested in the story long enough to finish it. But once I started the book I couldn't put it down, which is really rare for me. The is a must read for anyone who like survivalist/mystery books. McCall really pulls you into the characters lives and leaves you wanting more. I wonder if there is a sequel to this book?

I liked the paranormal aspect of this book, but I felt overall that the book was unrealistic for various reasons. I enjoyed it though, and have certainly read a lot worse.

I like all of McCall's books but this one was one of her best. The open affection among four generations of O'Ryan men, the suspense, and the exceptional women they love makes a great story. Hated for it to end.

A "seer" Deborah Sanborn has a vision of their plight and with the help of the child's family of men race to help them. Of course, romance between four of the characters adds spice to the plot

I enjoy books by Dinah McCall/Sharon Sala. Since I love to read about psychics, this was right up my alley. This one was a keeper.

A pretty good story, with a happy ending. A little too much along the line of the romance storys to suit me.
Light thriller, good as a brainless beach-read or as break from heavier fare. Includes a plane crash, a murder, a chase, a lovely psychic, child in peril, and not one, but TWO romances. A little sex is thrown into the menu, but nothing that would offend even the most sensitive reader. Don't know that I'd recommend wasting a credit on it, but I'd pick it up in a garage sale for a quarter. Three out of five starts.
It was a moving story with the lady from the mountain able to help the survivors during a blizzard.
The five year old helped with his limited knowledge of survival and were able to keep ahead of the person who didn't want them to tell what they had seen.

This was a great read.I really enjoy reading the Dinah McCall's novels. This has been my sixth book I read from this author and like the others it was hard for me to put down. I enjoyed reading about the O'Ryan men as well as Molly and Deborah.
Compelling story of two lost survivors of a plane crash. A local woman who is also psycic and the family of the survivors team up to locate the lost passengers. Very good story. I couldn't put it down. 5 stars

I never met a Sharon Sala/Dinah McCall book I didn't like, and this is no exception. This author always has a variety different plots and warm characters whom I feel like I know by the end of the book. I wish this had been a series with a different book for each of the O'Ryan men. If you are a true Sala fan, grab the box of tissues because this is another tear jerker.
Once you start to read this book you will not want to the book down.
