This second book of the Ms. Fox's trilogy may be the best of the 3. There is enough mystery, and romance in these books to keep any number of readers happy and moving right on through to the next book. Each of these books revolve around one of the children of Ron Raven, which gives the author the ability to float the rest of the family through the stories and makes it all so familiar.

This is book 2 in the trilogy. Book one is Missing, Book two is Suspect, and Book three is Payback.
Suspect was much better than Missing. The story starts with Chloe Hamilton who's charge with killing her husband Jason Hamilton. Chloe wants Liam Raven to defend her against the murder charge. Liam is of course apprehensive than is until he finds out he fathered Sophie Hamilton their daughter. There's a lot of twists and turns and just when you have things figured out. The rug is pulled from underneath. if you were disappointed by Missing you will find redemption in Suspect. I hope we will find out what happens to Avery Fairfax in Payback.

Second in Cresswell's Raven/Fairfax series. This is Liam Raven's story. When the mayor of Denver is murdered his wife Chloe Hamilton asks Liam Raven to defend her. Their paths have crossed before in the past and Liam is in for a few surprises. Secret lives, some of which were introduced in the first book, and a murder mystery make for an intriguing novel. Romantic, but not heavy on the love story.
Great book and engaging story line. I will definitely read more of Ms. Cresswell's novels.
The entire series was very interesting.
