The 2009 Galaxy Book of the Year Award. A real British whodunnit. This book looks further into the investigation of the murder of Saville Kent in 1861. Mr. Whicher, one of the best investigative detectives of the day implicated the person whom he felt was guilty. Five years later that person came forth to admit to the crime. Now this book looks further into the reasons why it is thought that the murderer/murderess likely had an accomplice and why he or she did not choose to implicate that accomplice.
