Both are above average. Suspicious Affair is helped by the whodunit plot. Angel for the Earl has a plot I have never encountered among Regency Romances, which is saying a lot since most of them have similar plots.

Good story and lots of dry humor which is this author's trademark. These are among her best books.

A SUSPICIOUS AFFAIR - I did not enjoy this story because it seemed overly-long and tedious.
AN ANGEL FOR AN EARL - This story is about an angel trying to save an earl from going to hell. I thought it was clever and entertaining without being cloying or too-cute. I thought this was the better of the two stories.
