This was a great read--I was able to totally lose myself in the story.

Excellent! It seemed a little slow in the beginning as the author so cleverly gave very descriptive setting, character and situation details. However, as I continued, totally drawn in by the details, I was soon unable to dismiss the story during the day. Mr. Cramer is an excellent writer. I am amazed at all the interweaving of lives, details and "messages". It is nice that he included some discussion questions at the end of the book. They made me think and apply more of what I read. WE ARE THE ARMS OF GOD.
Thanks, Mr. Cramer!

This book will always remain on my favorites list. The story captures you quickly and the characters are so interesting. Mr Cramer's style or writing takes you directly into small town living. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this book is. Great for readers who do not like questionable situations/words.

This was the first W. Dale Cramer book I've read. It was a great book, kept me interested and could hardly put it down. The book was an easy read and read it twice.
Enjoyed the Harly character. You should never judge a person by their looks.

Really enjoyed this book. Mr. Cramer is truly a "wordsmith"!
WOW! Every book is so different but with such a message. I love Mr. Cramer and all of his books.
Wonderful eye-opening novel! It's a page turner!
A great story that will stick with you. A page turner with exciting drama in a small town. Great characters.
While I didn't like this book as well as many Amazon readers, it's really more the type of book that I find disdainful. Characters are too good to be true. It would be a great read for those of you who like spiritual books, like Mitch Albion's or Charles Martin's, you'd probably give it 4 stars.
A strager comes to Sutter's Cross, but what is he after? As more becomes known abotu him, the small town must coem to an understanding of its own, and work together to resolve its issues and begn to trust each other and God.
"There ain't but three things worth saying about somebody that's passed on, and I can truly say all three of this good man. I loved him. I'll miss him. And I'll not be the same for knowin' him."
