The Merry Gentry series has improved over the last two books and I have increasingly enjoyed them. This book feels like the end to the series, wrapping up a lot of plot threads, although there is another in the works. Claudia Black does a fair job of reading with a pleasant voice and a light accent. The emotions in her voice are sometimes a little uneven and the different characters are not particularly distinct, but since it is mostly Merry's point of view, the story is easy to follow.

This is simply fantastic. I thought I'd be heart broken but Laurell won't ever let us down.
