This is not a romance. It is erotica. Though I am impressed how she develops her character's personality in the little text that doesn't have to do with sex.

Characters are sassy, funny, loving and vulnerable. Story is erotic and sexy. If you like Maya Banks, youll love this book.

This is the first book I've read by Maya Banks so I didn't have the back story on the characters (I think there are 2 stories before this and one after). At first I didn't feel there was much connection between Julie & Nathan. It got better towards the middle but I definitely liked the ending. I liked their story but not so much the bdsm of the other characters (but that's personal preference).
As usual I love Maya Banks. This book was as good as the others and I cant wait for the next one, Micahs story.
