Tessa Jamison has been in prison for almost 11 years for the murder of her husband and twin daughters. She is innocent but can't get anyone to believe her. To pass time she thinks about what she would do if she could find her brother in law Liam who she thinks is the real murderer. She is shocked when a legal team comes to the prison and informs her that due to a technicality she is being given a new trial and is being released into the custody of one of her legal team with lots of conditions and an ankle monitor.

The novel takes off at freight train speed and covers 3 days in her life. Why did her daughter draw the disturbing pictures they find? Why was a watch she had never seen her husband wear in the items that were packed from his office? Why was there a checkbook from an individual account she never knew he had in the items from his office? Lots and lots of questions by Tessa, her legal team and a friend of Tessa's. As the story goes along questions are answered and still more questions arise as more characters are brought into the story.

As the story progressed I figured out who I thought the real murderer was but I still had doubts. This was a very good suspense story that I would recommend to those who likes mystery/suspense without lots of gore.
