Book two in the Lucky Harbor series and not exactly the best in the series so far. The heroine isn't the type of person most can agree with but she isn't horrible, sometimes I liked her, sometimes I didn't. I found the two men, the heroines ex husband and the hero, having the "mine is bigger than yours" match trying to win the heroine over to be annoying at times, sometimes though it was amusing. It was hard to keep reading this book when I got to the last seven chapters, and found myself skipping through the last chapters to get it to hurry up and just tell me who she was going to end up with, even though you already know since it follows both the hero and heroines perspectives. Anyways this was still a decent book, I just wish it were better.

LOVED IT!!!!!! I could feel the pain and agony of both Ford and Tara over the adoption and in their journey back to each other. Great story! Emotional and funny!

The second book in the Lucky Harbor series. Tara and Ford have a history together that keeps them apart now. The appearance of her ex-husband pushes her into Ford's arms and heart. Their "secret" comes to town and cements their relationship. Funny, bittersweet and oh so readable. 4 stars
I thought Tara was a ninny...and having a relationship with Ford was a no-brainer, especially considering their past. It was still an enjoyable read although a little drawn out.
I read the second book in this series only because I had already ordered it!! I'm sure a lot of you will love this series, but for some reason it just didn't hold my attention. I hesitate to use the word Harlequin, but that's what it seemed like to me.
I'm sure I would have really enjoyed it 20+ years ago!! (You know you're getting older when you start referring to the past in decades!! HaHa)

I did like this book. I really liked Ford, he was smokin'! There weren't really any surprises, and it was definitely pretty predictable. The sex scenes weren't very creative. There was no "chase" as far as the romance goes, they both knew the attraction was mutual, they just weren't sure it was a good idea. It was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon.
Laugh out loud funny and at the same time a little heartbreaking.
Love this series! So Much fun!
One definite plot point I (generally) don't like is the exes becoming a couple again. Having said that, I think this book is relate-able when speaking about first loves and the maturity that comes as we age.
Really love this series!
