well written, 3rd in the 'storm' series, no need to read the other first but there will be a small reference from them in this one but not necessary to read the others first. a continuing flow of story, length is just right so you aren't getting bored and it is a smooth flow all the way.

Swept Aside by Sharon Sala was the third book in a trilogy. I will say that it was my least favorite in this series but I still enjoyed it.

Amalie Pope has already been through a traumatic event, a school shooting that she survived but others did not when she is thrown back into another event that puts her life at risk again.

A tornado has swept through the town of Bordelaise and four prisoners have escaped the torn apart jail. The prisoners find Amalie at her remote grandmother's house who has recently passed away. Now she must fight for her life against these prisoners who have her hostage. Can she make it?

While reading this story I found a typical romance evolving and it seemed a little too compact but then the action at the end kept my attention, so I would definitely recommend it. I am only giving it three stars because of the typical romance story that runs throughout the book.

This was similar to the first book and fitted more into the romance category. I thought out of the three the second book was best but the subject matter some might find distasteful.

Amalie and Nick had nice chemistry but I don't think I would categorize it as hot. It was a nice story but I wasn't completely dazzled. I liked all the characters enough, even the bad guys. I also liked that Nick isn't above taking the law into his own hands. Some of the lines were a little cheesy, especially when Amalie saves the day. It was slightly reminiscent of big budget action flicks.

Overall it was a decent book.
