If you like your books with a deep, meaningful plot sprinkled with a little sex then this is NOT the book for you. If you prefer a little story with A LOT of hot, steamy sex then you want this book. There was sex, and more sex and a little sex covered with sexy sex. They were well written sex scenes - ALL of them...and there were plenty. But all in all it was a good book.

It all started with an innocent request... Melissa’s friend Shane asked her to accompany him on a business trip to an exclusive resort. But The Sweet Surrender is no ordinary vacation spot--it’s for men and women who swing. As Melissa mingles with the other guests and discovers the resort’s fantasy rooms, she’s tempted to explore her naughty side and live out her most sinful fantasies—but she isn't prepared for the storm of desire that awaits. She soon finds herself torn between two men, one of her oldest friends and a handsome stranger who belongs to another. Both men bring her the most exquisite pleasure, but which man will win her heart?

This was an amazing book very steamy and very sexy this was the first book that I had read from Opal Carew and it was not my last I literally could not put this book down. I am into reading books that are detailed in the sex I picked up this book because I was looking for something different and it sounded interesting so I bought it and I can say I am glad I did it was well worth it and now I have all books she has released. If you are into these kinda books I would recommend reading any by this author. This was a great book and if you are interested in the knowing what swinging is all about I would read this book. If you would like more information please feel free to ask. Please enjoy and I hope this was helpful.

I like Opal Carew's writing style. This was a great 'swingers theme'. The characters weren't quite as engaging as my other favorite Carew novel TWIN FANTASIES. Overall if you want hot sex o plenty with a swinging backdrop. This is the book for you.

This book could have been so much better, if it actually had a storyline or plot. Filled with plenty of sex if thats what you're into, personally I like those kind of books too, but I've gotta have something to keep the story interesting and believable, and not just about sex

Not a bad book but I have to agree, lame plot. Plus, the author's huge overuse of the word "wail" was extremely distracting. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a page.

Non-swinger Melissa Woods joins her best friend Shane Mason as his wife to investigate a swingers resort which he plans to purchase. She is a repressed woman secretly in love (or so she thinks) with Shane. Within a day of being at the resort she turns into a total slut and falls in love with Ty Adams, another swinger apparently there with his wife.

If you're into gratuitous sex, then you might enjoy this book. Lots of M/F/F action but no M/M/F action. A little light on the romance but heavy on the sexual encounters.

This book was just OK. I did like the characters in general but found it lacking plot. Opal Carew is always good for steamy sex scenes but there are so many of them that there isn't really a storyline.

I have to agree with Jeanette T.; this book had sex, sex, sex. The sex scenes were hot, no doubt about that, but the writing style left me cold. There was no character development, no engaging dialogue, and the plot was flat. So if you're looking for good writing, it's a no go. If you're looking for sex and only sex, it's a go.
