I ejoyed the movie, The First Wives Club, so I thought I would like this book by the same author, and I wasn't wrong. It was a hoot! Want to read a funny, easy to read story? Pick up this book and enjoy yourself!

I'm not familiar with the rest of Goldsmith's work, but I found this book to be a quick, fun read. And, it's set in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, which should appeal to anyone familiar with that area. I will check out her other work for times when I'm not in the mood for one of my more thought-provoking reads. I would definitely recommend this book.

Good fun, as are all of Goldsmith's novels. Nice commentary on the myth of "younger is better."

A fun read! I laughed out loud several times.
I both hated and liked this book. I liked the plot to the story, and the writing was solid. It had plenty of funny moments and when the wife convinces the mistress to join in her plan to switch identities I cheered her on. I just didn't like Bob the husband at all, even at the end after they had 'taught him a lesson' and he was a supposedly better person that learned from his mistakes..... I still really thought he was a moron and just didn't like him! I guess I just couldn't understand what Sylvie (wife) or Marla (mistress) ever saw in him in the first place.
Park your logic at the door and just go with the flow on this very funny story of a wife and mistress who swap places. The wife's (and her mother's) plotted vengeance on the wandering husband are giggle-icious (is that a word?) and the dim-bulb mistress's malaprops are "the aphid test" of your sense of the ridiculous. Great fun.
Not very believable but I still like her stuff.It is a good book to lose yourself in for an afternoon or on the beach.
Fascinating story and very well-written. This author is a very talented writer. Two people switch places and actually get away with it!

the book itself is hilarious as the author has done a well written job on the plot and how a wife decides to see how it is living life as the mistress and to get revenge on the husband at the same time showing him that the grass is not always greener on the other side. For I couldn't put it down and laughed my but off about the car and the pool. LOL.
Absolutley loved it! A great book by a wonderful writer.

Pretty comical book about a set of identical twins who wishes they had what the other has. One has been married forever with children, the other lives the footloose and fancy free life. So, like the book title says, they switch places.
I love funny books, and "Switcheroo" certainly had some laugh-out-loud lines and memorable moments, which was helpful in off-setting the altogether heart-breaking story of a marriage crumbling amidst a mid-life crisis.

The author, with humor and intricacy, has woven a tale of two women, who could be sisters, if not twins, and their adventure with the same man.

Good quick read! Fun concept. Lots of laughs
Entertaining story. Sort of like "Parent Swap", but with a definate grown-up twist.
Really liked the majority of this story. Humor throughout the telling of a story of infidelity and revenge. Laugh out loud funny.
