This author is no D. Gabaldon but the book is fun. It's a good book for a weekend read and I did find myself enjoying it after I came to grips with it not being of the same caliber of Gabaldon's Outlander series. The fairy Sinnan is especially endearing to the reader and might result in wishing for a personal fairy of one's very own!
