Continuation of the Sarah Pribek series. Well-written and interesting though more cohesive if you read the first one first.
Absolutely excellent. Shows what can happen when you let sympathy rule your world.
Excellent. My new favorite author.
Can't wait for the next book!
Det Sarah Pribek has worked everything from vice to missing persons now in Minn six months after the death of a small town criminal she is still protecting the identity of the killer. Now a zealous D.A. has come to town to make a arrest everything turns to Sarah as a suspect and she must prove she is not a murder
I love Compton's writing.
This was such a good book. It kept my interest throughout the whole book. This is a great book about "Do I follow my head or my heart". It's full of suspense. You will absolutely enjoy this book.
This is the second Sarah Pribek novel. The main character is completely believable. Her story is well plotted and a thrill to read. I recommend it highly!

This was a good book but it was hard for me to stay interested during the first 1/3 of the book.
Liked the other book better. But this was still an good read.

Excellent book! More twists and turns than a rollercoaster and the fun is never ending!

I couldn't get into this novel, although the story itself seemed interesting. I disliked the main character and that ruined it for me.
This book was actually better than her first book, The 37th Hour. I can only hope Sarah Pribeck returns in another novel here soon!!
