This is an engaging new series with Detective Vikki Kirkby. When a senior officer makes a bad mistake, Vikki takes the fall. She is sent to Wexford's backwater. Since she is the only female detective inspector, the men of the police force are underwhelmed.
An elderly couple is murdered in their home. When Vikki treats it as a murder scene (instead of a murder-suicide), her colleagues think she is wrong. This is a complex case with lots of twists. I look forward to the next installment.
