Tailchaser's Song
Tailchaser's Song
Author: Tad Williams
Fifteen years ago, a young author surprised and enchanted readers with his first novel-the story of Fritti Tailchaser, a courageous tom cat in a world of whiskery heroes and villains, of feline gods and strange, furless creatures called M'an. The book was Tailchaser's Song, the author was Tad Williams. The legend was born.

This book is a all-time fav of mine. A friend recommended it to me, and I fell in love with the charactors at once. Fritti Tailchaser is one amazing cat, and his world is just as great!! I recommend this book for anyone who loves cats.

I adored this book! Tailchaser was a fabulous romantic hero intent on saving his missing love interest. The quest brings him to the depths of the earth and he perseveres over true evil. You will never look at cats the same way again after this book!

This is a great fantasy/adventure book about cats. If you liked _Watership Down_, you'll like this one!

Having read the Otherland series by Tad Williams, I was curious about his approach to literature for the younger set. Tailchaser's Song is well written, creative and imaginative. While it was a bit slow getting going it was quite a good little read. I think my 11-year-old grand daughter who would be a cat in another life will quite enjoy this one.

I must say that I had a bit of a hard time getting into this book at first. Nothing about it really grabbed me but not quite half way through the book it took off and held me with it. At the end, again, I had a hard time sticking with it but was glad I did. Lots of action, humor, love, friendship, loyalty. Good book, even if you are not a cat lover

This is a great story of determination in a classic hero quest. That it's about cats is a great plus for me. I've read this book a couple of times over the years. Definitely a keeper.
