Light, fluffy cozy. When suburban mom Barb's husband moves out saying he needs "space" she expects he's cheating. Also the strange late night happenings at an empty home next door, lead her to check out the house only to find a severed head and a couple of monkey corpses. That, and the free monkeys swinging from her trees, lead her on a strange and dangerous path involving the Mafia. At times quite amusing.

This book was just ok for me. It was funny in parts, but melodramatic in others. Parts of it felt like the author cobbled together scenes from movies she'd seen to stick into her story. I'd figured out the ending long before I finished, but the heroine was still funny enough to have me chuckling a bit all the way to the end. A quick but predictable read.
