Heroine was raised in an orphanage so I thought the bk might provide an emotional element I'd enjoy due to her past. However, the bk was only an average read for me.

Great short story. I usually don't read these books but this one was cute and to the point. It had plenty of human hardships to get over and the characters were likable and believable (for the most part)!
I would certainly recommend this book for a quick afternoon read...
