Book 1 in the Wishcraft series. I really like the Lucy Valentine series written by Ms Blake as Heather Webber. It took me a bit to get into this one. Although I will say, the tooth fairy incident at the beginning of the book was giggle worthy. Darcy and her sister, Harper have been raised as mortals by thier father. Upon his death, Aunt Ve invites them to Enchanted Village so they can explore their true selves. I like the concept of a magical community and enoyed meeting each of the Crafters. All in all, a cute book. 3 stars.

I enjoyed this cozy mystery featuring 2 sisters that have recently discovered that they have "Wishcrafter" powers.
When anyone "wishes" for something, ( and there are a couple of restrictions on the wishes.. ) Darcy and her sister can grant them what they wish for.
They live in The Enchanted Village with lots of cute sounding shops, ( Lotion Potion, All that Glitters..are two of the shops ), and there are some very interesting characters!
Darcy meets a ex-cop and his little girl, and enjoys their company..maybe a romance is starting?
When a murder takes place after a Crafter meeting, Darcy finds herself helping to solve it..the ending left me suprised!

Average. That's the highest rating I'd give this book. There really wasn't anything all that special about it, and at times, I had to push myself to continue on with it. A big disappointment after the author's Lucy Valentine series as Heather Webber. That series is much better than this one.
I just didn't really get the whole idea of the "Crafters" society. It seemed really frivolous and pointless. It also took me quite a while to get into the actual story, and the mystery part I had figured out by about Chapter 2 or 3. I may try reading the next book in the series when it comes out, but it certainly won't be one I rush to buy.

Darcy and her sister Harper are Wishcrafters; witches that can grant wishes assuming the wisher has a pure heart, wish is genuine, and does no harm. After getting a call from their aunt Ve, they've moved to MA and are learning about their abilities from their aunt. Ve owns her own business, As You Wish.
I liked the various magical abilities of various Crafters. They are able to live in plain sight and the "normal" human has no idea. Interesting town and townspeople. This is told in first person, from Darcy's POV and she is a likable character. Decent mystery, a lot of self discovery.
Nice twist at the end

This is a first in the series. Really a good start. Great characters and well thought out. Looking forward to the next one.
