Denver dry cleaner Mandy Dyer looks into a coat-check mix-up for her cousin and finds multiple murders. One of the best books of this series. Character development is coming along and the characters (except for Mandy's mom) aren't so anoying you want to throw something. :-)

A fun, "cozy" mystery - great light reading

I like the Mandy Dyer mystery series. Mandy owns a dry cleaner and that business seems to attract murder whether it is a body outside the back door or a mysterious object or note in a pocket of a jacket to be cleaned. She deals with inept or nosy employees, irritating customers, and the detectives investigating the murders that she has become involved in with equal determination and flair.

Mandy's cousin, Laura, has a problem. Someone has walked off with her coat leaving a coat with nothing but a dry cleaning slip as a clue as to the owner. Laura needs her coat back because of some undeveloped film in the pocket, so she asks Mandy for help in locating the owner of the coat so that Laura can get her coat back. You'd think this would be simple, but as always, Mandy manages to get herself into the midst of murder.
This book is a fairly quick read as this series tends to be, but it was enjoyable.
