This is the best book of poetry for anyone, not just kids. I received it when I was about ten and it instilled a love for poetry and art in me. Even today I will sit down with it and ponder over the poems while admiring the art of a variety of cultures and genres. It is truly a must read.

This is marketed as a children's book, but really, it's for the whole family. The illustrations are just gorgeous and the poetry is beautiful. It is a fabulous book for introducing your child to art and poetry without boring you as you read it together.
