Not as erotic as I had hoped for. The sex scenes were a little stilted and mechanical.
Still an author to watch as she has potential.

I really loved this book. The characters were great. I liked the story and the fact that the characters had lives outside of the love affair. Hot sex and hot cowboys. Definitely a recommended book.

I enjoyed the story. Very sexy, but with a little more substance than usual books of this type. The cover alone is worth buying!

I enjoyed this book. It is a quick read though I thought the characters could have had a little more depth. On a scale of 10 for hot, I'd give it a 6.

I loved it. It was sweet, raunchy, spicy, a little sad and heartwrenching at times, but then it just got sweet and raunchy again. Definitely a keeper!
Unfortunately, I didn't think there was much substance to this story. Wyatt and Lacy had zero chemistry and I thought things progressed very quickly. Wyatt was a bit too cave-man for me by making decisions regarding Lacy's career without discussing it with her. I also found the sex scenes too be pretty boring and I ended up skimming them.
I should have seen this pattern long ago that when I finally pull a book out from the bottom of my TBR pile, something that's been sitting there forever, and read the darn thing, it turns out to be something wonderful. I was sucked into the story right away with all the sexual chemistry and antics flying about (well written btw), but more important there wasn't the great misunderstanding that plagues a lot of romantic couples. I enjoyed seeing Lacy and Wyatt tangle with each other in every way, her steely determination and courage to face her extreme challenges, and his deep feelings for Lacy quickly form. It pushed all my romantic buttons. Nothing felt forced; the story flowed naturally and easily. Good and satisfying read. 4 stars.
Fairly good story line for erotica. And who can resist that cover!! Yumm!
Lacy is a waitress waiting tables and usually stays away from cowboys, but she just can't seem to ignore Wyatt. I found the story very compelling and just couldn't put it down.
I enjoyed this story, especially how Lacys' inner strength shines when dealing with realistic struggles. Lite erotica well worth reading.
I enjoyed parts of this story, and disliked others. The beginning of the book was my favorite part- it was certainly the most believable part. I was torn about the whole sick child part- I don't usually care for babies or children in my erotic romances.
I agree with the assessment that some of the love scenes felt staged and stilted- and I really didn't care for some of the terminology that the author used- left me wrinkling my nose.
The second half of the story takes us out of the rodeo/cowboy setting and into the corporate world. This part of the story and the ending felt rushed and forced to me. I wouldn't give this one five stars at all- an entertaining read, but not a keeper.

I enjoyed this one, even though it was very predictable.
