This book had the feel of âThe Talented Mr Ripleyâ. The author has created an intriguing story in which I kept changing my mind about who was good and who was bad. It takes place in Morocco, a place I know little about, and the city of Tangier basically becomes a character in the story. A page turner, for sure. Well done.
To be brief - I couldn't get interested. I got the book because I was impressed by the author's background, but great background does not make a storyteller. Maybe someone into superliterary fiction would have a better experience; I just found it tedious.
