Tanner's Scheme is an awesome entry in the Breeds series, the best I've read so far! The plot is well-crafted, the characters are interesting, captivating, and sympathetic and the erotic scenes do not disappoint - HOT! HOT HOT HOT! I loved this book, needless to say. I'm so pleased to see the story/plot becoming more developed and not just the erotic scenes, one after another (not that I don't love them!).

Tanner's Scheme was very good. I had no hopes for it considering my displeasure of the last two books, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I really liked Tanner and Scheme, but Scheme was the winning factor in this story. I thought she was strong, loyal, fierce and protective when she needed to be. I really admired her desire to do the right thing concerning the breeds. I'm also glad that we found out who the spy was in this book and that the author didn't drag it out as a plot device for subsequent stories. The sex scenes were numerous and I did end of skimming the last few, but I'm happy to say that I will not give up on this series yet.

Different from the other breed books, but still enjoyable. I read the whole thing in just a few hours. Leigh explores some themes here she hasn't before in this part of the breed series, such as voyeurism.

Her father wants the Breeds destroyed even if it means killing his daughter, Scheme, who has been working against him for 8 years and that is known to only a few. Tanner isn't one of them and he wants revenge so he kidnaps her. When Tanner realizes Scheme is a target of her fathers along with all he holds dear he will stop at nothing to protect her. Of course this is a Lora Leigh book so you know that when the mating heat takes over Tanner and Scheme sparks will fly and sex will abound. Looking forward to Dawn's Awakening, next in this series. HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!

I really enjoy Lora Leigh's breeds novels. This is the best I've read so far. I've read about 8 of the 20 written to date. Really hot, hot, hot with a ripping good story between the sex scenes.

Who doesn't like a heroine with a little attitude? In this book by Lora Leigh, Scheme is just that. Fiery attitude, temper and gorgeous to boot. Great action in this book along with a good mystery.

If you like all the other books in the breed series then you like this one. When I ordered the book off this site, I had an idea as to what the book would be like. Of course, I was not let down. The first book in the breed series I ever read, was Coyotes' Mate. At the end of the book we are shown the next pairing for the series, which is Cabal and Cassa, the nosy reporter which is present in Tanner's Scheme.

I had no idea that Tanner and Cabal were brothers, because this is only the second breed book I have read. I'm glad I picked this book out if not for the simple reason of getting a feel for what kind of character Cabal is.

I cannot wait for Cabal's story to be released in August. If you are interested in reading the books in this series I would recommend spacing the books out, because while Lora Leigh is good at what she does, her characterizations and sex scenes can become a little repetitious in language/action. I have found myself even laughing out loud at some of the dialogue. In short, if you are looking for something deep, and moving stay clear of these books, but if you are looking for a junk food snack for your mind...have fun!

All Lora Leigh BREED books are full of hunky men with sexily written sex scenes. Must haves for re-reading.

I loved this book, could not put it down. Finished it at four in the morning. lol. Lora Leigh is one of my top authors. This book is one in a series, and I think one of the best books in it. I know a lot of people say these books are all the same, but each book is very different, and hot. Lora Leigh writes great Alpha men, who take your breath away and make you melt all at once.

I love the breed series, however when the switch over in publisher's was done it was like some of the previous characters have been forgotten about. In this particular book they talk about Callen & Merinus's son David who is now 9. However they act like he is the only child yet Taber & Roni in the second book were also expecting a child & there is no mention of them at all in this book. Kind of disappointed me. I love to read series books for this reason for the reference to past characters/plots, etc. I still enjoyed the book & the series.

Tanner's Scheme is the best plotted Breed novel I've read to date. It's the best book in the series. I finished this in one evening even though I had to stay up until midnight. There are surprising twists and a lot of intrigue. If you like Lora Leigh's stories about the genetically-engineered humans with large feline DNA, you'll enjoy this story. There's a greater emotional connection between the hero/heroine than in the previous stories.

In the previous Breed books, the heroine typically doesn't like the hero, but in this book the two are very much into each other. They start off circling each other like two predators about to do combat when it reality they want something else. The verbal sparring is very nice. Scheme, the double agent for the Breeds, is probably the best heroine to date in these books. She's the type of heroine I admire. Very strong, capable, intelligent, but flawed. Tanner is a great match for her. What's not to like about the hero, Tanner? He's playful, charming, a seemingly easy-going playboy who is a PR genius for the Breeds, but Leigh shows us beneath that carefully crafted veneer he's much more serious and every bit the predator that his Bengal Tiger background makes him to be.

I loved this book enough not to part with it. Sorry, ladies. If you haven't read Lora Leigh's books before, you should know they are quite explicit when it comes to love scenes. These books aren't suitable for teens. Now if you're an adult - enjoy! If you haven't read the Breed series in order, you can still follow the story without problems.

Tanner is about ti put is playboys activities on hold but he never encounter that Scheme the daughter of a evil man that was using breeds for his our sake. But Tanner kidnapped Scheme hoping to draw out her father and confront him on his activities. Well all Tanners scheming got him a mate the he has mixed feelings towards but after everything they went through to keep Scheme save from her father and husband their feelings and their connection came out a winner. What got me was Tanner thought Scheme was meant for Cabal since they were twins but Cabal didnt show no signs of the mating, I cant wait to read Cabals story.
