Last one in the Landry series! Very good!
Got from my mom, a good read, hard to put down.
V.C. Andrews is one of my favorite authors. I am never disapointed with a series.
Wonderful reading....a great ending to a great begining....
I thought this was the weakest of the Ruby series, least of all because you know what's coming. My biggest pet peeve was the character's name, Gabriel-in the other books she was called Gabrielle. She does not rise to overcome and aside from Gladys Tate I found the story fairly mild and Gabriel (isn't that the masculine version?) naive to the point that I was glad she died before allowing yet another rich Creole to use and impregnate her.
I liked this as one of the best of V.C. Andrew's books.
I have read just about every V.C. Andrews book written and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
A twilight settles in Gabriel's soul, until a hunting party brings hansome, gentle Creole million heir Pierre Dumas to the bayou. Feeling desperpately in love, she does not heed the warning voice; he may bring more grief than she can bare...

Shows signs of aging still very readable.

I have not read this book. This copy is a book I bought from my library, so there is a red stamp that reads 'DISCARD' on the inside of the book. The stamp does not cover any words.
