Typical Holt book with really stupid females and arrogant males with no morals. Like all of her books the male seduces the female, and then the female gets cast aside only for him to have a change of heart after she has been put through the "crapper". She forgives him and HEA. I guess I have become a bit jaded to her books, but I continue to read because she can whip up a great love scene, but even this time I couldn't get into the extreme stupidity of the females and found the scenes a bit lacking.

So much like the first book that I lost interest. She uses alot of scenes from previous books so they almost run together. Liked the characters but again felt that I had met them many times before.

I wish I had read the member reviews before getting this book. I agree with them. I wanted to like the characters but couldn't. I felt I missed where the characters fell in love because there wasn't any remotely obvious occurrence, rather it felt it must have happened "offscreen". Miscommunication,poor treatment, and a lack of anything in common don't make for a good romance!
