"A young Englishwoman leaves London to be with her husband in mysterious and seductive India, and is immediately entranced with this exotic country. When her lustful husband awakens her to new passions--yet fails to satisfy her insatiable desires--she finds herself hungry for more. It isn't long before she leaves her proper English ways behind in search of new and more thrilling adventures.
Quivering on the verge of sexual awakening, she becomes intrigued with her trusted Indian manservant, the dark and sultry Rohan. A mysterious man with a past, Rohan is burning to introduce his mistress to a way of loving that exceeds the English imagination. Before long, their magnetic attraction intensified into a forbidden affair that fulfills every lust with scorching passion--but could cost the woman more than just her marraige."

TEA AND SPICES is an erotic novel but also has a very romantic "forbidden attraction" storyline, and good characterizations. Of course the sexual content is more than that of a regular romance novel, but still I would characterize this novel more as a "romantica"; the eventual love story takes precedence over the erotic. The sexuality in TEA AND SPICES is pretty mild when compared with some wilder books. It's a very good read, IMO, but may be a bit old-fashioned for hardcore erotic readers.
