I just found a nice pbk of this book. Paid 50 cents at a goodwill store. Looking forward to reading it.

the book has a little over 750 pages. I just reached 250 and Lincoln has won the republican nomination but the election hasn't happened yet.

I am about 25 pages from the end. I think Goodwin has created a slightly different picture of Lincoln from what has gone before. good book but it sure was long.
