This delightful story continues the adventures of Mma Ramotswe and her No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency. I love this series and I especially enjoy listening to the CDs because the reader, Lisette Lecat, is absolutely perfect. Sometimes a bad reader can ruin a book for me, but Lecat enhances this one IMHO. Enjoy!

Tears of the Giraffe is a beautifully written, touching story of an unusual life in Botswana. It will make you laugh and make you cry while introducing a culture that most of us know little about.

This was a delightful audio read. I appreciate knowing the pronunciation of the names and places. I think this is quite a long series of books, so I was surprised by how much happened in Precious' life in this one volume. Don't skip it!
