Young love, hearts broken. Now seeing each other again 14yrs later Trish & Joe are beginnig to find that love again. But can she ever forgive the betrayal in their past? Read to find out. You won't be disappointed. This is a great book about love & forgiveness and of course being a Toni Blake book........lots of steamy romance. Read in 1day. Love her stuff.

This is one of the best romance novels I have read so far. Toni Blake weaves an emotional second chance at love story. Joe and Trish are written beautifully. I hated to see it end. This is one of the VERY FEW books I have reread. I noramlly just send them on, but I cannot seem to let go of this one. If you are a romance lover and you have yet to read a Toni Blake novel, then you are missing out. IF you like big, emotional, and steamy stories, then she is the author for you. I highly reccomend this book or any of her others! Cannot wait for her new release in June 09.

I know from reading the other reviews that this book is not for everyone. I however LOVED IT! I do not get up set when the hero cheats on the heroine if he truely feels sorry and Joe did. He admits that it was the worst mistake of his life and the cheating took place 14 years ago when they were teenagers. From the moment these two laid eye's on each other, 14 years later, I could see the sparks fling. Joe did everything he could possibly do to make it up to Trish. Trish took a long time to realise that she could trust Joe, but hey, if she forgave him right away, there would have been no story. I really liked reading how these two became a couple. At time's the story had me tearing up. I had a hard time putting the book down. I wanted to know what was happening in this small town, the happy and sad parts both. I must also say that this book is very hot in the love scene department. Toni Blake has become an author that I will enjoy reading for a long time to come.

I love Toni Blake's books, but I was really disappointed in this one. The entire story hinges on a mistake he made at 18 and it expects the reader to buy that he loved her fiercely enough for him to still feel it over a decade later but that he was willing to take her at her word that she never wanted to see him again when he was 18. I don't know about you, but I remember how hot emotions burned at 18 and there's no way an 18 y.o. who's in love will let go that easily. He'd have chased her down and begged her to take him back. That how 18 year olds think--that they can fix anything if they want it bad enough. So no, didn't buy it.

My favorite story line. Young teens in love , then some kind of betrayl that breaks them up.Years later they hook-up again and after the emotional stuff from the past , they have their HEA. It has it all , emotion , humor . Its on my keeper shelf.

When Trish goes back to her home town, she is forced to face the man that broke her heart fourteen years ago. When they meet again the attraction is undeniable. She thinks that if she can be the seductress and stay in control, she can leave him and he'll never break her heart again. But, she soon discovers that may be more difficult than she thought.
This is book is both steamy and romantic at the same time. You really like both characters and hope that they will find a way to trust each other again.

Wow. I'm still smiling from the ending. This book has the type of HEA ending that just makes you sigh.

Overall, the book was very good. It was steamy without being over-the-top, and there was good chemistry and romance between the main characters. They actually had a real relationship! I also loved how the author pulled their past into their present. It was just an extremely sweet, sexy love story.

I'm glad I have more books by this author- I've only recently discovered her, but I really like her work.
