Tess Anderson is a wildlife photographer for a magazine. She doesn't really like it, but she needs the money to help defend her brother. But she is risking her life to snap pictures of a forest fire, a grey wolf appears. She retreats, but not without her heart in her mouth. It's uncommon for any animal to stay where danger threatens, but she can't think about it now as she is on the way to her brother's trial for murder.
Hunter Greymore is a lupus garou, a grey werewolf. When the forest fire gets too close to their home, he packs up what belongings he can and his sister Meara. They travel to his Uncle Basil's cabin to stay and to see if any of their pack return. But down the road from the cabin lives a wildlife photographer and her brother, and it won't do for them to catch Hunter or his sister shape-shift.
But when Hunter shows up on Tess's beach half-naked and injured, she has even more problems. For instance, how attracted she is to him. Hunter doesn't recall how he ended up on Tess's beach, but he does remember he is a werewolf. So to keep a low profile, he stays with Tess at her cabin and soon is immersed in her investigations for her brother as well as trying to figure out his own past. But the chemistry sizzles between Tess and Hunter and a choice will soon have to be made. They can't remain together if she remains human.
A paranormal romp that sizzles! Action-packed romance and suspense-filled plot add up to pure magic. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Terry Spear is a great addition to the paranormal genre!

Another good one from Terry Spear with lots of chemistry and lots of action. Tessa is trying to get evidence to free her brother from prison while dealing with a stalker. Hunter is a shapeshifter, an Alpha wolf with a pack scattered due to a forest fire. It's good he heals fast because he seems to get lots of injuries. The suspense isn't great but the action is nonstop and the romance sizzles. Hunter's sister is a really interesting character and there is some catching up with previous wolf shifters. This was a page turner that I enjoyed immensely.
Hunter and Meara are twins and are around 200 years old. They fled their home in CA to the Oregon coast after their home was destroyed by a wildfire. I really didn't like the plot-line (and little time was spent on it thankfully) of Meara needing a mate and it somehow being Hunter's job to find her one. Or an Alpha who can "handle her." 'Cause all grown ass women need a handler.
Tessa is a wildlife photographer with an affinity for wolves. Her bother was convicted of his girlfriend's murder. He, of course, is innocent and Tessa has vowed to prove that. She is also being stalked (yes, there was a lot going on in this one). She rescues Hunter on the beach during a winter storm. He conveniently has amnesia. But he does remember his first name.
Tessa has a "special bloodline" (because of course she does) and this attracts other werewolves seeking mates. There are multiple characters- Ashton (Michael's friend who has promised to protect Tessa), Rourke (Tessa's ex), Cara (nurse from hospital), 6 rogue werewolves (of note werewolves are everywhere!). The whole issue with the gold was over and done with.
Can't have a werewolf romance:
1. without a kidnapping!
2. sex when they barely know each other
3. no conversation about birth control (or can't get pregnant/have disease because....)
If I read another in this series it will be one a little further ahead. Book 1 sucked and I wasn't interested in the synopsis of book 2.
