I adore the Zorn Warriors series and this book didn't disappoint.
Argis Rever is bound to a human that is really nasty. Brenda (who is human and was offered to be bound to a Zorn because she lived with a very abusive husband and knew she'd die if she didn't get away) comes to Rever's house to wait for her bound's brother to claim her (her bound died on the way to the planet Zorn). There is an instant attraction between Rever and Brenda. Eventually they live HEA, but getting to the HEA is interesting.
