Oh my! I am new to this author. What a gifted storyteller. Found myself going slower and slower as I approached the ending because I couldn't fathom how it would end. Phenomenal book. This is one book that will stay on my shelf.

It's an incredible read. I feel I'm there. Can empathize with the characters I have nothing in common with in my real life. It is chock full of stories within the story. Not confusing. I would have preferred this book to have a second book. I wanted more and it stopped short for me.

Wonderful book--read it! It reminded me a lot of Ivan Doig's 'Last Bus to Wisdom', another great book with the same 'feel'. Loved this book.
