I enjoy this author; I like the connected story line of the Mallorys.
But the heroine in this story was beyond stubborn; she doesn't wise up until the very bitter end. I do love the bickering sibling rivalry between the brothers - always entertaining.

Okay... This story lacke a bit for me. First, Roslynn was really self centered and was hard to like, and have empathy for. Anthony was pretty predictable, and was an okay hero. I found myself not being able to fully picture scenes. While the story was okay, it lacked in the telling of the story. After 2 Malory novels, on to a different author. Maybe I'll come back to this family, but I need to read some better stories first.

Maybe because I read all three books one right after the other (which I normally don't do), I wasn't as pleased about this story as the other two. The plot didn't keep me as interested, there was too much of a plodding nature to the story, although the characters were well developed.

This is the second book in Lindsey's Malory series. This one is about Anthony Malory. I have, over the years read many of Lindsey's Malory books and am just now going back through and reading them in order from the first to the new one that is coming out this summer of 2010. I have loved each one and am never dissapointed. This one was no exception. A wonderful historical romance. I would definately recommend.
