I am a fan of the Military Sci-Fi. The book is a good edition to that field. I found the story flowed well from start to finish. The time the author spent on combat time was just the right amount to keep me going with the story. I feel you need to see the human side of the characters, not just the blow them up side. I felt the balance was good. I had a hard time putting this book down. I look forward to the next in the series. I recommend this book to all.
