This is such a great read! I gave it to members of my book club for Christmas, and they all loved it. It is easily read as a stand along, as we did not read previous books in the series. It's definitely family oriented, Christian fiction.
man! it's hard to decide which legacy book is my fav! this one was great. has a great kind of fair tale quality with the character chloe. she's had a hard life and now her prince charming is back in town with two kids that will steal her hear. a great story! there is a character mishap. there's no alice hawkins. ??

This book is Zack Kahler's story. We met Zack in Lightning and Lace when he was a troubled 13 year old. Brother Travis saved him from ruining his life and in the process fell in love with and married his widowed mother. Thirteen years have passed and Zack is now a newspaper man in New York City. He is headed home to Kahlerville when he runs into trouble..... an adorable pair of orphans.
Very good story! I enjoyed catching up on Kahlerville and its' lovely residents.

I am writing a review for this whole set` there are 4 books. It is most deffinately one of the best sets of books in my house. The 1st 2 books are sit on the edge of your seat, can't wait to see what will happen next, exciting! The last 2 are exciting, but in a differant way ~ more just really great stories. All are filled with GOD's love & watchcare & forgivness. If you read the whole set~ start with the first one~ they follow each other all the way through so you know the people a lot better if you read them in the right order.
I so enjoyed this series of books. The author out did herself!

I loved reading this series. It's the first time I've read DiAnn's books and I was very impressed. They are definitely page turners. I had many late nights because I couldn't put them down. If you like turn of the (previous) century - late 1800's, rural Texas and the Southwest, sweet romance, adventure, and intrigue you will love these. She has just the right balance of good and evil. I love how the characters grow in their Christian faith. Don't miss all 4 in the series.
