I was pleasantly suprised with this story. I really enjoyed how the relationship between Joyce and her dad was written - the close bond. Mr. Conway is funny!

The story is somewhat predictible but you find yourself rooting for Joyce and Justin. It's a nice, easy and light read.

Not my favorite from this author, heres a tale about a woman who receives a blood transfusion from a man she has never met and begins to recall his memories and develops skills and abilities she has never known, like speaking Latin and a knowledge of ancient architecture.

What happens next are several random sightings and near-miss chance encounters as they are being drawn to each other without knowing why or who the other one really is. The story dragged quite a bit for me but I was compelled to hang in there just so I could find out what would happen when Joyce and Justin finally discover who the other one is.

Some interesting characters adding to the story are Joyces father, who continuously calls her by her mothers name; Justins brother, Al and his wife, Doris, who are visiting from Chicago and Justins daughter who unwittingly plays a pivotal role in bringing Justin and Joyce together.

Not a bad story, overall, but for this author, I recommend P.S. I LOVE YOU, ROSIE DUNNE or IF YOU COULD SEE ME NOW.

This was a cute book. Not her best, and certainly not my favorite of hers, but cute nonetheless. It had some really laugh-out-loud parts - the father was a particularly strong and funny character. Like some of her other books, this one also seemed to have a film that inspired it - in this case the movie _Return To Me_. A lot of the plot seemed pretty similar. I think this book's main flaw was that for a romance, the two characters spent less than twenty pages together in the whole 350+ page book!

I absolutely love this book by Ahern. It is about a woman who receives a blood transfusion and soon starts having "memories" that aren't her own and finds she can suddenly speak another language. The very beginning is so sad and draws you in and you want to see what happens to Joyce. My favorite character was her dad. He is so funny even though he keeps calling her by her mother's name. (She is deceased) I liked Justin okay but not as much as the other characters. He just didn't seem so fleshed out. It's a very good book. My other favorite book of Ahern's is If You Could See Me Now and I liked P.S. I Love You.
