A holocaust memoir of how a mother managed to keep her daughter alive thru the ghetto destruction and 2 concentration camps. Amazing because the girl was only 8 when it all began and few children were able to survive these events.
A wonderful many layered view of a Holocaust survivor.
Thanks to My Mother was such a powerful story of survival and a mother's love and ingenuity, even under stark conditions and the face of evil. I liked this book so much that I bought several to give away to family and friends.
