Going on the same vib as #1 but we get more in depth with whats happening with Hedi, alpha by proxy and her inner circle of were's. He last saw Hedi throwing her dying love Trowbrigde 'The One' into the portal to save his life from the silver his uncle was killing him with and now 192 days or 6 months later Bridge is still no show and Hedi and her 3 best friends are on trial for killing the formal alpha, Dawn and Steven, and the big one Bridge and she is set to die the same day that the NAW shows up and the pack- the one shes in charge of- is there to watch her die. Unless there is a miracle that her nemesis Karma doesn't see coming. We also get to see the truth of the 'Royal Amulet' aka Ralph aka Royal Nastiness, he is the total opposite of Merry and acts childish most times for Hedi or can be good, multi personality is what I think of Ralph. Big surprise will come with Towbridge come back and hes not by him self but has 2 gifts for Heidi and one she doesn't like until she understands better. There is be some truths coming out that will hurt Hedi among other things she will learn and deal with or hide her feelings. Its a long book but its was hard to put down.
