Well written story. Good read.
I am undecided about Cathy Maxwell as an author. I believed this is her first publish book and it's very good. Both Julia and Brader were interesting characters. I loved that Julia was not the nicest in the past but needed to have that downfall to learn humility. The interaction was great between the two and Julia's annoying family added layers to her character.
Quick, easy read. One of Maxwell's better books.

Lady Julia Markham was the toast of the season, until she attempted to elope with a man who then betrayed her. Three years later, desperate and penniless she agreed to marry Brader Wolf, a self-made merchant.
