A new series featuring a 53 year old former day time soap actress. After spending over 30 years on the soap, Veronica Walsh is out of a job when the show is cancelled. Missing her routine, her co-stars and friends, and not sure what to do now - acting jobs for her age hard to find - she returns to her small home town in New York and puts in some time at her family's bookstore and meeting up with old friends. When her ambitious and not well liked neighbor is killed, Veronica finds plenty to do ferreting out a killer. A nice cozy.
