This thriller is book three in the Eddie Flynn series, a series I was unaware of. After reading this exciting drama of a serial killer with a inability to feel pain and a plan to make somebody else go to jail for his crimes by getting on the jury in the murder trial is a little far fetched. However, it works here because of well developed characters and unimaginable twists.
I will run to find books one and two immediately!

An interesting, if fairly improbable story. A serial killer on the jury? (No spoiler, it's on the cover.) This is a quick read, even though you keep questioning the chances of this happening, it keeps your interest enough that you want to see how it all ends up.
It is difficult to find a good legal thriller these days, but this is one. I added it to my wishlist after rave reviews, not realizing it is the 4th entry of a series. I usually try to read series books in order, but this worked fine as a standalone. The court room scenes were excellent, with a lot of twists. Some of the twists with the killer I saw coming, but this book was a lot of fun nonetheless.
Excellent thriller - hard to believe it is written by an Irish author. Steve Cavanagh apparently has extensive knowledge of the American criminal/legal system. Several twists and turns in this book and plenty of gruesome depictions of crime scenes - not for the faint hearted - make it a very compelling read.
This book definitely YANKED me out of a reading slump. It started out just a bit slow but by the middle of the book, it was hard to put down. I will definitely read more by this accomplished mystery/thriller writer!
