I think this series is much more funny than the Den of Antiquity series by the same author. Improabale, yes, but it's clear she has a real affection for her characters. Besides, the recipes are great. Even though I repost the books, I copy all the recipes first.

this book is really good not quite as funny as her later books but still classic Magdalena Yoder. If you haven't read any of Tamar Myers books in this series I suggest you try one. Be prepared to laugh out loud. She is very good at writing a murder mystery/comedy. I always enjoy her books in this series.

This book features an Amish inn keeper as the "detective" on the case. As in "Murder She Wrote" the protagonist shows up the police and keeps the community safe by hunting down murderers, all while wearing her sturdy christian underwear.
