I loved this book. I read "The Bridges of Madison County", I saw the movie and my wife and I even visited the bridges in that area. But, I always wondered "What became of Jessica and Robert. This book gave me that information in an enriching and wonderfully romantic manner. This book is every bit as good (if not better) than the original "Bridges of Madison County".
Robert James Waller is one classy writer. He brings life to his characters in a way that draws the reader into the story as if they are right there watching everything unfold in this delightful relationship.

The Bridges of Madison County was a great book...not movie. This one falls short of the original.

This book is somewhat of a disappointment; only because the original Bridges and movie were so good. You must read the original before this sequel to get a grasp. It is a pleasant read and has a surprise for you!
