I enjoyed reading this book & found it inspiring but then learning that Greg Mortenson had fabricated most of the story was very disappointing!
His so called "non-fiction" story turned out to be a work of FICTION.
Still, a very inspiring read that should make all of us choose to stand up for those that have nothing & bring the opportunity of education to children around the world...

I love this book because not only is it true but it shows how committed this one man prevails to help young women and their communities to become educated and the process that it takes for that to happen.
