FBI agent Jules Cassidy and lifemate Robin are featured front and center as the two head for the altar amidst lethal stalkers, intrusive reporters, obtrusive ex-lovers and a brief but life-threatening stint for Jules in terror ridden Afghanistan.
Readers get insights into issues of gay relationships, marriage and intimacy, even in Massachusetts where its legal. Some background on recurring characters (Davy Jones, Adam) and others from Troubleshooters, Inc. and Seal Team 16, who appear in supporting roles.
Jules is in top FBI form both at home and abroad for the dose of action one expects from a Brockmann novel.

A beautiful love story that involves the members of the FBI and a stocker.

I love the Troubleshooter series but this was not my favorite one even though it had a main plot - Jules' marriage and a sub plot of his fiance's assistant finding a guy. Just seemed a little tame. But since I love the Jules charater would listen again anyway. Also not my favorite reader. Love Patrick Lawlor who does many of the other ones in this series. He has a great voice that really adds to Suzanne Brockmann's stories.
