Recycling, upcycling, remade, altered....no matter what you call it, it's all been done before as evidenced in this 1973 crafters book entitled "Don't Throw It Away!" by Vivian Abell and publishedby Creative Home Library. Ms. Abell -- who served as a judge in a 1972 deoupage and egg decorating contest - has some wonderful ideas and talents. Some include how to make a lamp from a meat grinder; a tea strainer sachet -- even a plastic bag wreath -- and you thought that was YOUR idea???? 179 pages, including an Index of Throwaways. Not many color photos. Lots of instructions and drawings. This is the first version there is a 1974 version also.
