An excellent Sean Dillon story. Its about German U-boats and something called the Windsor Protocol signed by the Duke of Windsor. Get it and read about it, you will not be sorry.
A suprise to me at how good it was. Read it in three nights.
Fast paced escaped Nazi war criminal pursuit thriller.
Excellent find! Keeps you on the edge of your seat.
This is abridged, on two cassettes.
As you can see, after "Cold Harbour", I went on to listen to this one too. Seems like I get on a particular "Author", and get everything I can listen to! OK - this little gem was well worth the listen! Put yourself back in the 60's frame of mind! Let's see what this book gives us - start with a sunken German U-Boat, a lush tropical location (the Virgin Islands), sharks (the swimming kind and the walking kind), seaplanes, exploding yachts, villains, henchmen, and (for the ladies) a love interest. What more could you ask for? The main premise of this tale revolves around once IRA guman, Sean Dillon who has been persuaded to work for the British Government and rescue sensitive documents from a sunken U-Boat. Bad Boy turns Good! Hey, release reality, stop looking for verifiable facts - this is the stuff of Cotton Candy - you can't explain how it's made, you just know you like it! So, sit back and put the headphones on and - Like it!
