From Library Journal
In the conclusion to the popular "Ribbons West" trilogy (Westward the Dream, Separate Roads), Jordana Baldwin yearns to travel since her sister Victoria is now happily married and settled down. When her letters home are picked up by an Eastern newspaper under the byline "J. Baldwin," she seizes her chance to go undercover investigating the competition between the Union Pacific and the Central Pacific Railroads as they race to complete the first transcontinental railway. In disguise, Jordana takes to the rails as her fictitious brother "Joe" and soon runs into an old friend, Capt. Rich O'Brian. As Jordana struggles with her newfound feelings for Rich, he is tormented by his first wife's death and vows never to care so deeply for another. By placing their faith in God, Jordana and Rich find a common ground.

This book is about the laying of the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroads. A great historical and romance and adventure read. It also shows a great trust in God leading in their lives. The last book in the ribbons West series continues to follow the Baldwin family and adventures through the 1868 and 1869 years. A great historical read.

This book is a former library book(and is marked as such) There is obvious wear on front and back covers. Inside pages yellowed with age. GREAT read!
