Well written and easy to read. The characters were true to form, but it could not hold my interest as it seemed nothing much happened.

If you are a Star Trek: Next Generation fan, consider reading this book. It is one year after the Dominion War and the Enterprise has a mission to the site of the Rashanar Battle. Strange things happen, and since this is the first book in a series, by the end of this installment you are engrossed. We meet the mysterious Ontailians, a non-humanoid race and Wesley Crusher, the new "Traveler", makes his return and that only intensifies the story. If you love the NCC-1701D crew this is a must read.

Excellent story, other than the author referring to Data as "the android" constantly. I will be reading the entire series. It's nice to have some well written Star Trek to chill out with.
